India International Trade Fair
If you visit Delhi in November, there is a trade fair organised at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The fair is dedicated for a wide range of products such as automobiles, clothing, textiles, garments, household appliances, food, processed food, beverages, confectionery, sweets, pharmaceuticals, electronics, furniture, cosmetics, body care, health care products, sporting goods, toys etc. You name it and you will get it in the fair. Exhibitors from all the corners of India will come here to display their products. Countless visitors also gather here to shop till their hearts content.
We all know his as the father of this nation. To the world he is Mahatma Gandhi, the epitome of peace and freedom. It is not just Indians who love and respect him, but the entire world looks upto this person. Raj Ghat is the place where the mahatma was buried. On the banks of Yamuna river is the Mahatma Gandhi Road and the Raj Ghat is situated here. The memorial is made of black marble and Gandhi’s last words “Hey Ram” are inscribed on it. There is an eternal flame burning all the time. Around the memorial, you can find the memorials of many other famous leaders. If you visit the place on Friday, you can see a prayer being held. Except for Mondays, on every day you can see Gandhi’s philosophy being projected between 10 am till 5 pm. Also in the area is a Gandhi Memorial Museum.
The huge design is based on the instrument for calculation. It is an observatory situated in Central Delhi. Jantar Mantar was built to trace the astronomical phenomena and calculate scientific data is a charming sight containing large instruments of masonry. Many protests and rallies take place at the site.
